LinLin Jones, MPP’21, is a Grants and Contracts Supervisor in the Physical Sciences Division Local Business Center. She joined the University in 2019 and has a Master of Arts in Public Policy Analysis from UChicago. We interviewed LinLin about her interests and experiences.
Where you are from and where you were before joining UChicago?
Having worked in various roles in the corporate world and residing in New York City, my journey took me to Chicago when my husband pursued his MBA at Booth.

What do you enjoy about being a part of the PSD community?
I am incredibly fortunate to collaborate closely with world-class faculty and researchers and am continually inspired by their dedication to making the world a better place. I couldn't ask for better colleagues; they consistently support and carry me through even the most challenging times.
What three words best describe you?
Driven, passionate, team player.
What is your favorite restaurant in Chicago?
Pleasant House Pub in Pilsen is my favorite brunch spot. I order the Royal English Breakfast every time.
What hobby do you spend the most time on?
I have a passion for cooking and often spend my weekends exploring different cuisines. It's not just about making tasty dishes—it's my chill-out time, a way to unwind and de-stress.
