Northwestern University became the newest member of the Chicago Quantum Exchange, a growing intellectual hub for the research and development of quantum technology. The continued expansion of the Chicago-based hub, which also announced a partnership with IBM Q last week, demonstrates the depth of expertise in quantum technology in the Chicago area and the Midwest that can help in attracting further industry partnerships and government research funding.
