Four named to DOE Early Career Research Program

Four PSD members are among 83 scientists selected for the DOE Early Career Research Program, awarding $150,000 annually for five years.

Clare Boothe Luce Assistant Professor Chihway Chang, Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, will pursue research on “Towards Robust Cosmology from Large-Scale Structure with Galaxy Surveys.”

Brian Nord, Fermilab Associate Scientist and CASE Associate in the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics, will pursue research on “Simulation-based Inference for Cosmological Parameter Estimation and Discovery.”

Lindsey Bleem, PhD’13, Senior Associate at KICP and Assistant Physicist at HEP Argonne, will pursue research on “Maximizing Dark Energy Constraints from Next Generation Cosmic Microwave Background Cluster Surveys.”

And Neubauer Family Assistant Professor Sarah King, Department of Chemistry, will pursue research on “Drawing Electronic Structure on the Nanoscale Using Switchable Molecular Interfaces.”
