Overview
Incoming students must provide their department or program with proof that they obtained degree(s) from their prior institution. For the 2021-22 academic year, this proof should be submitted by August 1, 2021.
Proof typically consists of an official electronic transcript sent directly from your prior institution(s) to your department/program contact. We cannot accept unofficial transcripts. If your transcript from your prior institution does not indicate that the degree was conferred, you should also submit additional proof of degree conferral (e.g. degree certificate, etc.). Most undergraduate institutions in the United States indicate degree conferral on the official transcript.
How to send proof of degrees
The University can only accept official transcripts/proof of degrees. For electronic versions, this means that your prior institution must send it directly to the individual listed below. This is frequently done using a third-party service like Parchment, but your institution may vary. For paper versions, your prior institution (usually the Registrar or similar office) should send a sealed physical copy to the individual listed below. We cannot accept photocopies, scans, or screenshots.
Where to send your proof of degrees from prior institutions
Please send your proof of degree(s) to the department/program listed below.
If you are unable to send an electronic copy and your department or program does not have a physical address listed, please send an email to the contact listed under your department or program.
