We’re excited to continue to offer an initiative from the Physical Sciences Division that focuses on leadership training for PhD students who are in their second year or beyond.
This leadership training is aimed at students who want to learn practical leadership skills as they prepare to become leaders in their fields, manage and support collaborative research groups, and make important decisions in their labs and for their teams.
Each Autumn we will seek participants for a workshop focusing on Leadership Training for Early Career Scientists. Please note that there is limited space available in this interactive in-person workshop. Information about how to sign up for this upcoming training opportunity will be available around the beginning of the academic year.
In Autumn 2024, the PhD Student Leadership and Career Development Workshop will take place on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 9:00 am - 12:30 pm.
Interested PhD students in their second year and beyond should complete the registration form by October 1, 2024.
