Background
Human Resources Generalists provide professional support to a unit's staff/management by assisting in identifying resources for professional development, guiding annual performance evaluation and goal setting, and supporting employee/labor relation efforts (e.g. disciplinary warnings, performance improvement processes, and employee termination). Human Resource Generalists support staff, student, and academic hiring processes in Workday by developing job descriptions, interviewing, running candidate reference checks, generating approved employment offers, and conducting Workday onboarding.
Luisana is the main point of contact for all HR related matters for the PSD Dean's Office, Physics, Gardner Group, Graphic Arts, IT, Local Business Center, Engineering Technical Support Group, Facilities & Core Facilities.
