The Physical Sciences Division has two faculty committees:
FABRIC is composed of faculty representatives from across the Division’s departments who work together to uphold diversity and inclusion as core institutional values of the University of Chicago.
- Our Vision is for the Physical Sciences Division to be a place where all students, postdocs, staff, and faculty, regardless of background, feel valued and able to let their ideas flourish.
- Our Mission is to foster a climate of support and respect within our community by facilitating communication among our units and advising on diversity and inclusion efforts across the division.
FAB-CIT is composed of faculty members from across the Division who work to:
- Solicit broad input from PSD faculty on IT issues and policies
- Facilitate meaningful dialogue with IT Services
- Help divisional leadership think strategically about computing and IT across the Division
