In collaboration with GRIT & the PME GSC, the SHPE UChicago chapter is organizing an International Day of Women and Girls in Science Celebration.
In this event, we would like to invite all Latinx/Hispanic women, gender minorities, and allies in a day filled with delicious Latinx refreshments, science arts and crafts, and meaningful round table discussions.
The event has a forum format and aims to generate a space where Latinx/Hispanic women and gender minorities in our community can share experiences and develop an action plan or ideas that help build a long-lasting supportive community.
Join us for important conversations about being Latinx/Hispanic women and gender minorities in STEM! The event will be held on February 13th, 2025, from 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm at the Eckhardt Research Center Room 161.
