8:00 am–12:00 pm Zoom

Astronomy Mini-Conference Hosted by Dorian Abbot's group within UChicago Astronomy and Astrophysics

We've all heard the fascinating question: "What Makes a Planet Habitable?" In this mini-conference, we're investigating the equally puzzling mirror question: "What Makes a Planet Uninhabitable?" We'll be exploring four topics: The Habitability Spectrum (degrees of habitability), Interior-Atmosphere Exchange, M-Star Atmosphere Loss, and Anti-Biosignatures.

Expected attendance from Asia, Europe, and North America. Speakers have been invited, and a finalized schedule will be sent out when available. Please provide your email here if you are interested in attending this free mini-conference on Zoom!
